About the Project
At Colorado Access we had a quarterly newsletter that we would send to our network of providers, Medicaid members, and community members called the Navigator. It was sent to nearly 3,500 emails and wasn’t formatted well as an editorial piece.
The Challenge
Many users were struggling with scrolling through all the content of the Navigator and it felt as if there was certainly a better way to deliver these emails. Rather than feeling like an editorial piece it just felt like another long email.
The Solution
I was developed a new strategy around our quarterly newsletter. The first step of this process was developing a rough wireframe to create a pdf of the publication that could be used within Flippingbook to become more of an interactive magazine format. This created more of a publication feel and allowed us to really develop out how we presented the content with creative elements incorporated into it. The first iteration of this was called Navigator and was more focused on the provider network we work with while the second iteration became Connections which is targeted at both providers and members within our community.
