About the Project

Illegal Substitution is a yet to be released card game that was the idea of a friend and myself. This was a personal project I took on where I created the box design and from there created a 3d render to get an idea of what the game would look like in the end.

The Challenge

Illegal substitution was planned to be a game where you could take athletes from any sport and build a team for a challenge card focusing on one sport.

The Solution

I wanted to communicate the idea of referees & sports through the design of the box. I did this through using the black & white stripes and added some splash of color and a tagline for a finishing touch. This project never came to actuality… but there’s always a chance!
